: Medicine
: The Medicine skill is associated with removing diseases with treatments and healing in combat via bandages.

It can be raised initially by examining yourself and other players. This method will raise the skill to 20. After that the only way to raise the medicine skill is by treating sick and injured players or yourself. Players become ill in several ways, typically by being defeated in combat. Ailments will reduce movement speed, offense and defensive power as well stat regeneration rates. Additionally, Medicine can be raised by using bandages in comabt to heal yourself or allies.
: Metallurgy
: Metallurgy is a crafting profession.

To begin Metallurgy, seek out a trainer and purchase a scroll that teaches Metallurgy. Learn Metallurgy recipes by findind scrolls in shops, from other players, from quests, or from npcs. You can view all your known recipes and craft items by a Metallurgists table. Metallurgy is unique becuase the only way coins come into existance is through this profession: Silver, Gold, Palladium, Platinum, Rhomidium (with the exception of copper). To raise your skill you need to craft many items such as Copper, Silver, and Gold coins.

Metallurgy is also used to create jewelry such as rings, bracelets and necklaces.
: Mining
: Mining is a harvesting profession.

To begin mining, first purchase or find a scroll that teaches mining. The mining skill is raised slowly over time by harvesting mine resources (Copper, Iron, Silver, etc.). The harvested precious metals are used to make weapons, armor, coins, chests, etc.
: Poison
: Poisoning is a skill mostly associated with melee offensive abilities.

Poisoning is gained by casting the appropriate difficulty spells associated with Poisoning. In the future this skill will also be required to use certain deadly items in combat
: Religion
: Praise often.

To raise the Religion skill visit a sacred altar of power and praise the gods by donating. Each donation will have a chance to increaes your religion skill. Religion skill is required to activate certain blessings - blessings are improvements to existing abilities. Donating more valuable coins will yield a slightly higher chance of gaining religion skill.
: Sorcery
: Sorcery is associated with spell casting, typically in combat.

Sorcerers can gain skill by casting any one of the Sorcery spells. These spells can be found spread across the various Spell schools (Curses, Blessings, Incantations, etc.)
: Strategy
: Strategy covers many zone spells and is gained by casting those spells frequently.

Some spells include Stealth, Sprint and Immunity.
: Tailoring
: Tailoring is a crafting profession used to make Cloth Armor and Bandages.

To begin Tailoring, seek out a trainer and purchase a scroll that teaches Tailoring. Learn Tailoring recipes by findind scrolls in shops, from other players, from quests, or from npcs. You can view all your known recipes and craft items by visiting Loom. To raise your skill you need to craft many items such as Bandages and Cloth Armor.
: Weaponsmithing
: Weaponsmithing is a crafting profession used to make staves, swords and axes.

To begin Weaponsmithing, seek out a trainer and purchase a scroll that teaches Weaponsmithing. Learn Weaponsmithing recipes by findind scrolls in shops, from other players, from quests, or from npcs. You can view all your known recipes and craft items by visiting a forge. Skill is raised by crafting many items of the appropriate skill difficulty.
: Woodworking
: Woodworking is a crafting profession.

To begin Woodworking, seek out a trainer and purchase a scroll that teaches Woodworking. Learn Woodworking recipes by findind scrolls in shops, from other players, from quests, or from npcs. You can view all your known recipes and craft items by visiting a Carpenters Table. To raise your skill you need to craft many items such as Shelves, Chests, etc. Woodworking is primarily used to creature furniture and storage units to be placed in Player housing. Successfully crafting a woodworking recipe will yield an Instruction Scroll item in player inventory which is then used to place the Furniture or Storage unit in a home.
